Modern Braces, Invisalign & All-Ages Orthodontic Care from Board-Certified Specialists
Choosing the right orthodontic treatment is a decision that affects your smile for life, and we don’t take that responsibility lightly. At Freedman & Haas Orthodontics, we offer the full range of modern orthodontic options, from traditional metal braces and discreet ceramic braces to Invisalign clear aligners, with treatment plans personalized for children, teens, and adults across Palm Beach County.
Our two board-certified orthodontists, Dr. Douglas Freedman and Dr. Sharon Haas, have personally guided more than 40,000 patients to a healthier, more confident smile over four decades of practice. We use the latest digital scanning technology, low-radiation 3D imaging, and the Invisalign and bracket systems that produce the most predictable results, all in three offices conveniently located in West Palm Beach, Wellington, and Indiantown.
Every treatment plan starts with a free consultation. We’ll examine your smile, discuss your goals, and give you an honest recommendation, including the option to wait, monitor, or skip treatment entirely if that’s what’s best for you. No pressure. No quotas. Just expert guidance from doctors who have built their careers putting patients first.
Which Treatment Is Right for You?
Every smile is different. The treatment that works perfectly for a teen with mild crowding may not be the right fit for an adult correcting a complex bite issue. Use this quick comparison to see which option might suit you best, then book a free consultation and we’ll confirm with a personalized recommendation.

Invisalign
Clear, removable aligners that gradually shift your teeth into alignment — without brackets, wires, or dietary restrictions.

Your Journey: What to Expect
Free Consultation
Your first visit is free. We’ll examine your smile, take any necessary digital imaging, and discuss your goals — with no obligation to start treatment.
Personalized Treatment Plan
We’ll present 1–3 treatment options that fit your goals, lifestyle, and budget — with clear timelines and pricing. Take it home to think it over.
Modern Imaging & Digital Scanning
If you decide to move forward, we use iTero digital scanners (no goopy impressions) and low-radiation 3D imaging to plan your treatment with precision.
Treatment & Adjustments
Whether you choose Invisalign or braces, you’ll come in every 4–8 weeks for short check-ins. Most appointments take just 15–30 minutes.
Retention
After active treatment ends, you’ll wear a custom retainer to keep your new smile in place. We’ll fit you with one and walk you through care.
Affordable Orthodontic Care: Insurance, Financing & Payment Plans
We believe expert orthodontic care should be accessible. That’s why we work with most major dental insurance plans, accept Medicaid for eligible pediatric patients at our Indiantown office, and offer in-house, interest-free payment plans so you can spread the cost of treatment over the course of your care. We also accept FSA, HSA, and CareCredit, and we’ll always give you a clear, written treatment cost before you commit to anything.
What we accept
- Most major dental insurance plans with orthodontic benefits — we’ll verify your coverage and file claims for you
- Medicaid for eligible pediatric patients at our Indiantown office
- In-house, interest-free payment plans — typically 12–24 monthly payments, with no third-party financing required
- FSA and HSA (Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts) — orthodontic treatment is FSA/HSA-eligible
- CareCredit for extended financing options
Frequently Asked Questions
Comprehensive orthodontic treatment in our area typically ranges from $4,000 to $7,500 depending on case complexity, treatment type, and length. We offer a free consultation where we’ll give you a precise quote — no guesswork — and walk you through payment plan options that fit your budget.
Neither is universally “better” — they’re suited to different patients and different cases. Invisalign is more discreet and removable, which works well for many adults and teens. Traditional and clear braces are more predictable for complex bite corrections and don’t rely on patient compliance (you have to actually wear Invisalign 22+ hours a day for it to work). At your free consultation, we’ll tell you which is the best fit for your specific case.
Most comprehensive treatments take 12–24 months. Minor corrections (like fixing a single rotated tooth) can sometimes be completed in as little as 6 months. Complex bite corrections involving jaw growth or significant tooth movement may take 24+ months. We’ll give you a specific timeline at your consultation based on your bite and treatment goals.
We work with most major dental insurance plans that include orthodontic benefits — including Aetna, Cigna, Delta Dental, MetLife, BlueCross BlueShield, United Healthcare, and many others. We’ll verify your benefits, explain your coverage in plain language, and file claims on your behalf. Our Indiantown office also accepts Medicaid for eligible pediatric patients.
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends a first orthodontic evaluation by age 7. At that age, we can spot developing issues early — often without any active treatment — and plan the best timing for any future intervention. Early evaluation is free at our offices.
Yes. About one in three of our patients is an adult, and adult treatment is one of the fastest-growing segments of our practice. Modern Invisalign and clear braces have made orthodontic treatment far more accessible for working professionals, parents, and adults who simply weren’t able to get treatment as kids. There’s no age limit on a beautiful smile.
